Messaging in NAV 2016

Does NAV have a messaging system within the program? For instance, if I have a job ready for QC, can I send a message to interested parties to let them know without having to send an email separately?

You could use notifications. They will appear in the Role Center but I think that you need a customization in order to create them from a job. As standard a notification from a job completion appears in a Role Center.
