    Hi Saurav,

Exactly the same problem is here that can we plan to make it dynamic and that is the reason I am asking this question on forum that is there any alternate solution to make it possible?

    RE: Jet Report

    Hi Niraj Kumar,

It seems to be Great Question when i read the question asked by you.

    There are some points -

    1. Yes it seems possible to me, as using excel buffer i can write formulas in cells. These formulas can be Jet Formulas.

    2. But while creating a Jet Report From Navision, wouldn't it be static. It seems to me a static code that you write in navision and every time you run the same Jet Report File opens.

It dosent seems a Generic solution to me? How you plan to make it dynamic?

Suppose i want two jet reports from Navision -

    1. Customer Sales Within a period.

    2. Customer Balance due within a Period.

Will it be possible to do it from same navision report?

Just wanted to know why you want to create a Jet Report From NAV..

    Hi Rajasekhar,

I know about it which you respond but my question is still unanswered. My question is can we write code inside navision to export to Excel in Jet Report format. I mean to say I want to export my report in jet format not a simple format.

    Hi

If you want to open the Excel file created with Jet then you can use HyperLink(filename) from Navision which will open the specified file.

you can also pass the parameters to the jet report using the below link

    www.mibuso.com/.../viewtopic.php;f=23

and there is Addon to run Jet Reports inside NAV, refer the below for Addon
