Sales order - Direct delivery

At AX 2012 R3 - CU7 I get following message by creating direct delivery: "for WHSEnabled warehouses, direct delivery is not permitted"
What is the new way to handle this. And where to find documentation on this issue

    Hi Tom,

    You need to create a new (special) warehouse for Direct delivery. Warehouse management has some requirements related of having some storage dimensions enabled which could not be provided for direct deliveries. You can provide the new "direct delivery' warehouse on the sales order. Then the process runs OK.

    This solution is checked, but I need the new WMS function for handeling the delivery. Most of the times it is sold out of the warehouse(not direct delivery), so what do you suggest or do you know if a issue is reased at MS?

    Hi Tom,

    Delivery from your warehouse is not a direct delivery. On direct delivery the goods are delivered to the customer without being received in your warehouse. Are you mixing some features? Please explain more as I'm going to lose you. Perhaps you are using cross-docking?

    Hi André

    1. Normal is that item is produced inhouse and sold (For this we need WMS)

    2. Exeption: Production have no free capasity inhouse and therefore is item ordered thru intercompany and then delivered direct to our costomer. (There the problem is comming up)

    Sorry for my bad decription ;-)
