can we automate the monthly Calendars open and close in D365 F&O?

I would like to automate the fiscal monthly calendar to open and close in D365 F&O. Does anyone know the steps? Is it possible to do?

Yes and no. You have certain features in D365 Finance that can help you close your periods, but I would strongly advice you against closing periods fully automatically unless you know exactly what you are doing, just some unsolicited advice from someone working in finance.

Ludwig Reinhard made a really god video some time ago, but the process can still be used today: Automatically close your ledger periods in D365FO with the help of MS-Flow | Microsoft BizApps Finance & Controlling

But for the sake of automation, have a look at the period close workspace: Financial period close workspace - Finance | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn

It can be a bit heavy to configure, but when you have done so it's really great.

HI,

You can do as mention in the trail answer but my suggestion would be to very carefull because this not only have status but alos gives functionality of access at module level. Also its business sensitive during audits etc...
