One of our sales people just got a new laptop and when he set his Outlook plugin to sync on his new machine, dozens of notifications were re-sent. Some were from last summer.

I'm at a loss how to trouble-shoot this. What causes notifications to be re-sent?

We found the answer - we have a desktop machine that sends out CRM emails from a No Reply account. So the emails were originally sent out as they should have been.

This salesperson's Outlook plugin had not been working since last summer. When we set his new machine to sync with Outlook, it started sending out the emails from this sync.

Interestingly, we may have stumbled on a reason for most of the people in our organization to turn off their Outlook plugin! Unless they use it specifically to track emails, the No Reply machine is sending out their notifications.

This was happened because these all notification was in pending state.

There is no solution for this but precaution is there.

Please always check that the user who is configuring outlook has any pending email or not.
