i know i can use Data import & export framework but how?? i imported product but i don't know how to import a product master... and please provide me details

I have used the product and variant entities in DMF, Product Master entity gave me weird errors in AX2012 R3.
In variant entity, there is a field named RetailVariantId. You should select this auto generated. Also you might get an error when you hit preview data, but if you can go ahead and import data to staging, it won't give you any errors there.
In addition, make sure you have enough numbers in your sequence for RetailVariantId. It is used in InventDimCombination table. This number sequence can be found in retail parameters.

If you import product through product entity , it will create product master as well as product for current company.
If you want to import only product master, you can use product master entity.
Please create processing group and create entity as product master with required source type. Please provide your source file template and source file field and generate mapping. It will create the file and staging field mapping.
you can see your file data through "Preview source file" button in same UI.
Once it is done, Please come processing group Ui - click generate staging. it will populate your file data in staging table.
You can check your file data through view staging button and validate the child data also.
Once it is done, you can click "copy data to target ", it will create data in target.

yes i did.. and i know all of this.. it importing product not product master with variants
how can i imoprt variants?? config , colors , sizes & styles?? and how to assign it to esp. product?
Config,Colors,size you can import if you have Cu9. Cu7/cu8 entity having some issue.
U can use Cu9 entity - DMFstandardProductVariantEntity

When you are importing a product, you give a productdisplaynumber which is also included the table I shared above.
If your ProductDisplayNumber is PRODUCT1, and you want to import a product as Configuration=CON
Size=SIZ
Color=CON
Style=STY
The displayProductNumber field in RetailVariant entity should be as following:
PRODUCT1 : CON : SIZ : COL : STY
If you are not using the configuration dimension, but use all the others, your ProductDisplayNumber should be: PRODUCT1 : : SIZ : COL : STY
Also, make sure the ItemIds also the same between product and variants
By the way, I updated the ItemId for Variant entity in my previous post so if you copied it to somewhere, please update
