Нello everyone!
I try to setup supply chain parameters in D365FO to meet the requirememnts:
1. A company has a warehouse for finished products (FPW) and 4 remote warehouses for wholesale.
2. These 4 warehouses are replenished from the FPW and are used to ship customer orders 24/7 (warehouses do not stop).
3. There is a transportation schedule from FPW and according to this schedule:
3.1 remote warehouse №1 is replenished on Wednesday (shipping from FPW on Monday and receiving on Wednesday)
3.2 remote warehouse №2 is replenished on Thursday (shipping from FPW on Tuesday and receiving on Thursday)
3.3 remote warehouse №3 is replenished on Friday (shipping from FPW on Wednesday and receiving on Friday)
3.2 remote warehouse №4 is replenished on Saturday (shipping from FPW on Thursday and receiving on Saturday)
4. Every monday a company runs master planning to get the distribution plan for two weeks.
I set up the mode of delivery for the first warehouse by opening Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in the calendar. But after master planning is run I realise that the system can plan transfer that starts on Wednesday, then there is a break on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, then transportation continues on Monday and finishes on Tuesday. Or even delivery can start on Tuesday, continues in Wednesday and finishes the next Monday if the on hand level is enough to deliver later (starting on Tuesday enstead of Monday).
The issue for other warehouses is the same.
Is it possible to setup supply chain using out-of-the-box capabilities as needed? I want to tell the system that the delivery for the first warehouse can start on Monday and finish on Wednesday only, for the second warehouse the delivery can start on Tuesday and finish on Thursday only and so on.
