Does ADX portals been deprecated ? i know MS accrued the ADX studio and using MS portals, im learning Portals ATM and when try to install ADX portals getting a warning as below
is this still a good resource to learn Portals from ?
ADX Studios portal is released in version 8.3 as open source.
From that moment on MS portals is the way forward if you start from 0. (If you want full support and continued development.)
A lot of features and way of working with ms portals is the same as adx, so using the end user guide is a nice way to start learning;

I suggest you look in to user guide just for reference. ADX is no longer the "Go To" as far as MS portals are concerned.
ADX Portal Package has been released as Open Source and MS confirmed that they no longer release updates / support the modifications done on that package.
MS will support only MS Portals.
Its a good idea to refer the user guide to start learning from 0
