Brand Profiles in Customer Insights Realtime Journeys not available for email templates

Hi! I have created multiple Brand profiles, with different colour schemes etc... in the settings. When I am creating a new email the dropdown shows up to select the brand profile in the upper right corner next to the "HTML" (Screenshot in German). Everything fine so far.
 
 
But when I want to create an email template, I'm not able to select a Brand profile and I would need to manually select / define all the colours, fonts and sizes again. That doesn't make a lot of sense to me and it would be really helpful if it would be possible to use brand profiles also in email templates.
 
Or is there maybe a hidden setting that I'm missing to activate / deactivate?

    You might want to vote for this as an idea. I agree that what you looking for would be good, but it doesn't work unfortunately.

    I ended up here, because I wanted to create an email template based on a brand profile, and couldn't find a way to do it.
     
    There's a workaround actually: 
     
    1, Create a new email using the brand profile you want to use in your template
    2, Save the email
    3, Save the email as a template
     
    Doing so will make your brand profile available in an email template.
     
    NB: I suppose there will be issues if the brand profile changes somehow, but for now, I'm happy that I don't have to start from scratch.
