Hi all,

If customer still want to use Dynamics AX 2012 R3 version, not on Azure, could we still buy the product?

If so, as i know the AX2012 should buy the user CAL, but after going to the D365 for Fin & Ops Enterprise, user should by licensing as SLs. 1 SL should be equal to 1 CAL. 

But SL should be paid by monthly or annually, if we try to use Dynamics AX 2012 R3, do we still should be paid as D365? Not a chance as before by CAL, just buy the license at a time?

    Hi Aaron Wang,

    From 1st July 2017 onwards you cannot buy AX2012 anymore.

    There are, however, certain exceptions especially for customers in countries where country-specific features are not yet available.

    There are also migration scenarios for customers already using AX2012. Depending on the circumstances things can become easily complex and I would recommend that you get into contact with a MS Partner or MS in your country to discuss details of your case.
