Hi All,

Can I override lookup on a field on Data entity (to add lookup on Excel add-ins) using code I tried to do lookup like (projectCustomLookup) in DataValidationProjectTaskEntity data entity but it does not work.
Any hint?

Hi Waed,

What do you mean by it doesn't work? can you please show us the code you did, and explain to us what are you trying to return in the lookup?

For example, if you open "DataValidationProjectTaskEntity" in excel, does the lookup provided in this method "projectCustomLookup" works? if yes, then it means, maybe the code you wrote for your custom lookup is missing something. So please provide us with the code, and explain to us what are you trying to return in the lookup.

Also, if you check this link below, the question itself shows a custom lookup code that worked with the person who asked the question, so please check if it helps. However, this link says that we can only do lookups by returning one field only, and that's why I asked you what are you trying to return in the lookup.
