Changing Opps sales process in bulk

Posted on by 282

Hi Guys,

Im wondering if it is possible to change current open opps to a new sales process that I have created. I know I can remove the old sales process based on security roles but by shutting down these processes it now shows an error for the user on the Opps that have not moved to the new sales process.

My thinking here is if there is a way of changing all open opps to the new sales process in bulk I can then turn off the other sales process.

Also part of this is how do I pick the default sales process for when a new Opp is created?

Thanks for your help on this.

    Jason,

"I dont have the Global Admin rights to create all the relevant connections" can you please comment on this? To connect to CE instance you have no need to be Global Admin.

    Hi Andrew,

Thanks for this. I have attempted to go through the steps to set this up but within my organisation I dont have the Global Admin rights to create all the relevant connections. Do you know of another way perhaps to get this done?

    Thanks again.
