Hi all,

What happened when we have data entity, already set as Public, I can find it by using OData (....F&O URL\ data), but in Data management -> Data entities, I cannot find it ?

I have Refresh Entity List couple of time through Data management -> Framework parameters, still I cannot find it.

    Hi Tony

    It happens sometimes, don't worry, go to the Data entities form and create a new entity, In the entity lookup field pastes your entity element name then everything will be auto-populate.

    Hi Tony,

    Have you searched the data entities correctly on Data management ? Please check the "Staging table" to be sure if the entity exists in the environment and what is the entity name.

    Hi Tony,

    Is this data entity only enabled as Public or also enabled for data management? The list of entities is for the data management features. A list with public entities can be checked in the Excel Workbook designer form.

    Hi Andre,

    Yes, my mistake here, this data entity is not enabled for data management, since it is only used in Aggregate Measure. I forgot about this, sorry all.

    That's make me want to ask a quick question, if I want to use this same entity for BYOD, I can just enable the Data management property and regenerate staging stable, can I say that ?

    This changes will not affected the usage in Aggregate Measure it self, am I right to say that ?

    Hi Tony,

    Changing the Enabled for Data Management property should not impact the current behavior. However, for sure test it carefully before applying it to the production environment.
