Is there a way to have a web-2-lead contact form, similar to salesforce and Wordpress (via plugins).
We are looking forward to use Dynamics 365 Online going forward.

Yes, multiple ways.
The simplest is to extend whatever lead capture form you have on your webpage to submit directly to your CRM via the SDK. This is a pretty simple modification to most websites, and an insert to CRM is relatively straightforward. In fact, you could do this with essentially any website you control. You will find details in the SDK: www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx
You could use the ADXStudio (now Dynamics Portal) to make a lead capture page: community.dynamics.com/.../create-adxstudio-portal-forms-to-capture-leads-in-dynamics-crm (though that is overkill for just a single lead capture page)
