Disable Automatic Update of End Date/Time When Setting Reservation status to 'Completed'

Currently, in D365 Field Service, when changing the status of a Booking to Completed, the End Date and Time are automatically filled in. However, this can cause problems in my project, since in many situations, Field Consultants complete bookings at the end of the day or even the next day. Therefore, it is essential that the End Date and Time entered by the consultants are preserved, without the system automatically changing them.

I found two articles in the Community that address the same issue, but both are from 2022 and do not provide conclusive answers. Perhaps, currently, there is already a setting that allows disabling this behavior when completing a Booking. Does anyone know if this option is already available? Because I would not like to use custom Date/Time fields to work around this behavior, nor would I want to disable native Field Service Plugins, which is no longer recommended by Microsoft.

This other Microsoft article talks about a possible setting for this purpose that was released in 2023, but I can't find it in my environment. Does anyone know anything about this?

Currently, there is a setting introduced in 2023 Wave 2 updates to allow preserving the End Date/Time when completing bookings without the system overwriting it. However, it may not be visible if your environment hasn't been updated to the latest Field Service version or if the feature hasn’t been enabled.
Check if you have the “Preserve End Date and Time on Booking Completion” setting under Field Service system settings or Booking entity settings. If it’s missing, your environment might need an update or the feature enabled via Power Platform admin center or Microsoft support.
No need for custom fields or disabling plugins if this setting is available and configured properly.

Do you know if there is a way to make this work for the role of technicians as well? Currently, this seems to only apply to the role of Administrators/Coordinators.
I am having the same issue and maybe I am missing something as this is not working for the technician role in my case....
