Configuring new values by removing the standard options for duration field

Hi Community,

I have a query regarding the 'Duration' field on the activities like Tasks and Phone Calls which currently shows option values as multiples of 15 minutes, but we would prefer them to be configurable for example as 1, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 45,60 etc.,

Is there any possibility of achieving this task either by a custom field or using JavaScript. Please suggest. Thanks

Also I have seen a useful video as below but it is unsupported so I am looking for better options. Thanks

Hello,

If you want to resolve the task the supported way you can use the following approach:

1. Create an optionset with values 1, 5, 10, e.t.c.

2. Place it on the form and develop a JS that will copy the value of the field from your custom "duration" to the "OOB" one.
