Export 2 million records from dynamics 365 Customer Engagement online daily

We have to export around 2 million records from dynamics 365 Customer Engagement online. Also, the fetchXML is a little large.

Using RetrieveMultipleRequest we sometimes receive "Sql error: SQL timeout expired. CRM ErrorCode: -2147204783 Sql ErrorCode: -2146232060 Sql Number: -2".

Which is the best way to do this?

Do I have to use Data Export Service?

FetchXml can be paginated (see example) which will reduce the data retrieved at each call. you can loop through all pages until you are done.

Hi Mariano Ignacio,

There are a few ways to export the records but I would use SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). The approach will vary depending on what you plan to do with the exported records.
