35Hello,
how can I make this code snippet work as intended?
class Base
{
protected method()
{
// does its things...
}
}
class X extends Base
{
public a_method()
{
Base::method(); // this is what I'd write in C++ but doesn't compile in X++
}
protected method() // -> it overrides Base's method
{
// I don't want this to be invoked in this.a_method() !
}
}
that is, invoking the Base's method() and not its implementation in derived class X.
