Financial Dimension & Inventory Journal

Hi Everybody, 

Does anyone know if it exist a way to set financial dimension in inventory journal? When you go through General Ledger > Journal setup > Journal names it is possible to set financial dimension. But in Inventory Management > Setup > Journal names > Inventory, it's not available, is it a way out to fix it? 

I don't want my users set financials dimensions when creating transfer, arrival etc. My financial dimension depends from my journal and not from my item so i can't set them on the item.

    Hi,

    In the inventory module you have a functionality available that allows you to link an inventory site to a financial dimension, such as a cost center.

    Have you tested using this feature?

    Hi,

    The standard functionality works only for one single financial dimension.

    If this is not sufficient then you have to extend this standard feature.

    With Site Dimension Link activated, the financial dimension will populate for the Inventory side of an Inventory Journal.  However, on the expense side, what are the options for specifying financial dimension?

    Update: I had a Main Account Legal Entity Override on the expense account with a default Financial Dimension value of [blank].  Once I removed this, I got the needed behavior where the Financial Dimension on the Expense side matched the Financial Dimension on the Inventory side.
