Merging with this functionality:
does not merge the messages of the contacts.
How to merge the contacts without losing the messages?
Hi partner,
What's the message mean in your case?
I tried to merge contacts and found that emails for all contacts had been kept.
In the below picture, the Email1 and Emial2 was from 2 different contacts before merged.

We are using Standard CRM Contact Merge Function.
Everything works when merging, but Social Pane Activity Entities are not merged successfully
- like (Post, Postcomment)
If we are able to move them as a workaround, we would lose the owner of these records in the display of social pane on the Master Contact
I did the merge procedure as mentioned in the below document.

In my case messages from both the contacts merged and then I neutralised the duplicate messages.
Try following the merge procedure as given in the above document. The problem will be solved.
