Is it possible to let customers choose the products they want to buy

Hi,
 
Is it possible to send a quote with optional products and let customers choose the products and respective quantities that they want to buy?
 
We can build an e-commerce site but we don’t want customers to order whenever they want…only want them to order when we are ready to receive orders.

    Hi,
     
    I'm afraid that's not possible.
    In Dynamics 365 CRM you can email activated quotes as PDFs to your customers.
    But this does not allow the customer to select the products and quantities.
     
    I have tried to embed a quote form in a Power Page, but it is not possible to select a product, and there are some required fields that need to be filled in.
    There is no access to the entity that corresponds to these required fields for external customers.

    I don't know your business model, but one opportunity is to have Power Pages (a customer portal). If you connect this portal to your Dynamics solution, the clients can login and choose from your optional products.
