Passing Contacts from 1 Customer Journey to another

Hello everybody,
I'm looking for a way to pass contacts from one Customer Journey to another?

In regards to building "Funnels", I want to pass a contact to another journey if he clicks or submits a special form.

In the current version, we have to work with several Segments to make this happen. Is there a better way to solve this problem.?

Or how do you solve this scenario?

I think solutions like Clickfunnels show how to do that.

Why microsoft doesn't copy the funnel building thing, bothers me.

Greetings

    Hello,

A stage in a funnel can be defined in several ways. Relying on justs a click or a submission is perhaps a simple way. But often marketers like to use more signals from their audience that reflect their interest. Marketers sometimes even like to give a score to capture a quality of the expressed interest or the engagement.

A segment is actually a great way to define the audience in your funnel! A segment gives you all flexibility you can think off!

-> Go to a running journey and observe the click KPIs and create a segment from that experience with one click to build a sharply focused audience for your funnel that only looks at clicks or submissions from another journey.

-> Build your funnel segments that will bring together your audience from different journeys, forms, events that deliver targeted content if you want to continue with a common experience for the next funnel stage.

-> Or define a more fine grained funnel transition that converts various signals (even input from your sales reps) into status on your contacts and leads, like with the workflow / update entity activity in the customer journey. The build smart segments that take in all those relevant members of your funnel stage.

When thinking about your perspective I think it would be a good to provide an easy to use creation experience that allows users to build a multi stage funnel program in a few clicks that is comprised of several customer journeys and respective segments based on very simple patterns.

Thank you for the food for thoughts!

RE: Passing Contacts from 1 Customer Journey to another

    Hey Megan,

sure no problem. So let's asume you have 2 communication streams in marketing:

    1) Your frontend: Campaigns e.G Promoting an eBook, Best Case, special offer

    2) Your Backend: Here I talk about special E-Mail Drip Campaigns that grow over time, where every customer runs through. ( like a daily newsletter, reffering to content videos...)

When we have a new Customer that has signed in through a web form, he will automatically be in a 1 Journey and run through it.

But what is the case if he clickes in the journey, shows interesst and i want to switch them to a new, more suitable, customer journey?

Or he runs through the customer journey and didn't respond to any of our approaches. Normally i wouldn't stop to interact with them. I would put them in my Backend to regualry provide them with e-mails.

I know that is pretty advanced. But if you think about it, it makes sense.. without having the customer to always create additional fields on contact or lead and pick them up with a advanced segment.

Please let me know, if im missing some features that make it easy to do that.

    Hope that makes things clear.

    Greetings

    Hi Finjan,

Could you please clarify the business scenario as to why you would need to move the contact to another journey?  If you use a Trigger tile and the customer fills out your form, then they could continue down the path to other activities in the same journey.  I'm interested in understanding what is driving the need for a new journey.

    Thanks,

    Megan

    Hi,

Thanks for your suggestion. We will consider it for our future plans.

Can you elaborate a bit more on the scenario you want to achieve?

    Thanks again
