Roles and permissions between Business Unit

Hi Community! We are in the implementation of security roles and permissions in Customer Service aplication but we don't know how can figure out some points.
I have the next scenario: Group 0, Group 1, Group 2. Group 0 has 1 user (User 0), Group 1 has 2 (User 1 and User 2) and Group 2 has two as well (user 3 and user 4).

Group 0 should can read and edit cases from his Group and just read cases of Group 1 and Group 2.

Group 1 should can read and edit cases from his Group and just read cases of Group 2 (but not Group 0)
Group 2 should can read and edit cases from his Group and just read cases of Group 1 (but not Group 0)

Im trying to resolve using three diferents Business Unit, but i have some troubles.
If Group 1 and 2 are child of Group 0, and assign Deep priviledge to read in case entity, it is working to Group 0. But Group 1 can't access to Group 2 records, the same happend whit group 2 tryng to access to group 1 records.

Any sugestions to resolve this?
Thanks in advance

    Hi Prateek!

Thank for your response. I will try this:

"But if you still need 3 BU - then you can have Grp 0 as a parent and Grp 1 and Grp 2 as a child. Grp 0 users will have Parent BU access so they will get access to 1 and 2.

Grp 1 and 2 users will have just BU level R/W access so they cannot read each other records.

You can then create a team in Grp 1 called 'Grp team 2' and add all users of Grp 2 under this team and give the team BU level Read.

Similarly, create a team in Grp 2 called  'Grp team 1' and add all users of Grp 1 under this team and give the team BU level Read."

Because we don¡t want assign to team, because we need to know who is the responsable to resolve the case.

So, it make sense, it should work, I will tell you later.

    Thank you.

    Hi Matias,

You want basically Grp1 to Read the record of Grp2 and Grp 2 to read the record of Grp 1.

That raises a question - why they need to be in a different BU if both can read each other records?

If it is just to restrict write privilege then that can be achieved using Two teams under one BU.

So you can have Grp 0 as parent BU and Grp 'X' as child BU. Inside Grp X you can have two teams - Grp 1 and Grp 2.

Grp 1 and 2 will have role BU level Read and user-level RW. The cases can then be owned by teams.

But if you still need 3 BU - then you can have Grp 0 as a parent and Grp 1 and Grp 2 as a child.

Similarly, create a team in Grp 2 called  'Grp team 1' and add all users of Grp 1 under this team and give the team BU level Read.

    Thanks,

    Prateek
