Newsletter analysis: Why are some click names with a # displayed?

Hi all

Does anyone know why the newsletter insights create different click names of the same click? Once the name is displayed with the actual link text and once it is displayed with a # and number.

For example we only have one button in the mail, however the same link twice in the insights: One version is the real link name and one version with #2.

Any clue, how this happens?

    Hi,

Do you still have the same problem during this time?

    Hi Hugh Cui

We added the link in a button, just like you did. The image you see above is the analysis in the customer journey. It's the same view as you have, just exported into an excel.

It just seems super weird, since we only have one single button in the mailing, which includes the link. We will continue to monitor this, but I really can't explain it.

    Best,
    Janine

    Hi,

Where did you add this link and where did you open this image you posted.
We did the following but it did not reproduce your problem, we added a button containing a link and also added the link directly in the text, then clicked on the button and the link respectively and returned to the insight, but the # you described did not appear.

    Best regards,
    Hugh Cui
