Firming planned production order

Hi,

Currently trying to firm a planned production order, error: Planned order must be scheduled before firming.

When trying to schedule, error: Not enough capacity available for Operation 0

    Do you have a calendar assigned that has working time far enough in the future for the requirement date?

    Also check your resources and resource groups if you are using them and make sure the finite capacity is unchecked. But I would check the calendars fist as Jacob suggested.

    Hi,

    I can see this topic is quite old, but I'll leave a note for other people experiencing this issue, as I just managed to find the root cause (in my case - as I can imagine more scenarios can apply). This message turns up when Production Lead Time is set on coverage settings with "Working days" checked, but there is no calendar defined on the group. I'm guessing (as I didn't take time to check it) AX is looking for open days in the coverage group calendar but since there is no calendar it doesn't find any open days untill the end of coverage period and throws this message.
