Error : DIXF service is not installed on the computer running AOS instance

Hi,

While opening DIXF parameters screen, i am getting below 2 errors marked as red. Kindly help if anyone faced the same in AX 2012 R2 CU7. I installed DIXF service on integration services box (SQL). I also installed DIXF Server component on AOS box. I installed DIXF client component on end user's machine where AX client is installed.

    Config file was needed to be moved in server/bin folder. It was pointing to localhost(AOS). I changed it to point to the machin where DIXF service is running.

    I just wonder where do we specify this path during installation? How does it know that service is running somewhere else. While installing DIXF  AOS server component it asked the machine and I specified the service machine but it still took localhost somehow.

    Anyway, your directions helped me to get to the resolutions. Thanks much.

    I did face this issue in past and I simply uninstalled DIXF components and reinstalled it.
