Dears,

I have 2 Scenarios for Subscription Billing Module as below.
Scenario One
Product Price Billing for three years Revenue recognition over 36 months Billing frequency
Product X 36 K Year-1 18K
Year-2 12K
Year-3 6K
1000 K monthly 3 invoices yearly in arrears
I used the milestone billing but the system is creating the full amount ( 36,000 At the beginning of the contract) i selected to have deferral and revenue recognition together and if i do revenue recognition monthly the remaining amount for Deferred is 6,000 however it should be zero, is there a way where i can manage my revenue recognized amount and deferral amount at the same time in different schedules.

Scenario 2 is that the Client buy the Subscription at Oct 2025 but he wants to start using it first of Jan 2026 so my revenue needs to be recognized starting first Jan for one year.
Scenario Two
Product Price Billing Amount Revenue over 12 month from Jan 2026 until December 2026 Billing frequency
Product X 36 K 10 K on Oct 2025 833 monthly One time in October

Appreciate your support on this.

    Subscription Billing Scenario
Scenario 1: I need a little more details. Are you trying to have the Deferral Start Date and End Date be the same date so that year is effectively recognized 100% the same day it's billed?  I'm thinking you need milestone/event Rev Rec template set up similar to how you are billing.

Scenario 2:  you need to turn off align deferral to billing in SBS parameters. This will allow you over write the start and end dates on the deferral schedule. you may also want to set up a 12 month template. override the start date then assign the 12 month template which will calculate the end date.
