Hello,
I'm getting this error when a user tried to download data from dynamics to excel:
"failed to retrieve the enhanced server config".
I tried removing the add-in and putting it back. The environment is also added to the server url but getting the same error again and again.
If anybody has gone through this error and solved this problem. Please let me know the solution. Thanks!

I have already gone through this article but it didn't work for me. In my case, my add-ins is working when I am working with the system admin's login. But it is not working with other users. I really appreciate it, if you can guide me to resolve this issue.
This seems to be a permission issue because it is working when you try with system admin.
I tried checking required permissions to use this add-in but couldn't find.
I would request you to submit ticket with Microsoft to get help
Also, can you check if User who has Basic User role are able to edit data from Excel?
Please check Excel related permission on Role configuration page and try to give access to see if it works
