New Business Process Flow editor - can't set relationship for multi-entity BPF?

Two questions, first a basic question and then a specific situation.

1. On the new Business Process Flow editor, I have noticed that the Stage Properties menu never shows me the "Relationship" field, even if I have the "Entity" set to a different entity than the stage before it. How come? Seems like that's an important piece of information.

2. Supposing I'm able to set relationships somehow, is it possible for a BPF to use a hierarchical, self-referential relationship the same way as it would moving between two entities? I am trying to set up a custom Work Log entity that relates a set of Work Logs to a single Work Log.

    Hi partner,

Only when the two entities have relationships between them, then you would be able to see the "relationship" option.

For example, my first entity is Account, and the second entity is Entity List( an entity in Portal) which havs no relationship with Account, so the "relationship" is hidden.

But when the second entity is Contact which has 1:N relationship with Account, we could see the "relationship" option disappeared.

More detail about relationship in BPF, you could refer to this DOC.

    Hope it helps.

    Best Regards,

I understand that the entities need to have a 1:N relationship--in my example above, they do. File has a 1:N relationship with Service.

But are you saying that a BPF relationship only appears when going from a child entity to a parent entity?

If so that would be disappointing because I was hoping a BPF could help my user create a series of hierarchically related records from the top down.
