Hi, I would like to know how can I achieve this functionality (to get the Characteristic filter in Resource Filter at Schedule Board to behave in OR manner).

Currently the Characteristic filter in Resource Filters behave in AND manner.

Like the example below, CN has Lines Expert skill and PB has Batteries Expert skill

I can filter for Lines Expert, or Batteries Expert separately, and they yield the correct result.

But when I search for both together. I wish for it to display PB and CN, but it display no resources instead.

The odd thing is, the Retrieve Resources Query for the Characteristics is already filtering by OR.

I have even tried setting the inner filter to OR, even though I know that filter is mainly for Characteristic and its Rating, but alas, it's still not behaving like an OR.

I have raised a MS ticket but they said this is the intended functionality.

Could anyone assist me on this?

But aren't we already filtering against the link-entity because the filter's name is towards the link entity's name?

Besides that, I have also attempted to hardcode it as follows (which is a simulation of how the ufx bag works), it actually worked. It displayed PB and CN.

    Hi,

You are editing the filtering applied to the dropdown in the filter tab (keep it as is).

To apply the filter to the resource list, you need to add or edit your link-entity for the bookable resource characteristics. Something like:

You can add immediately before your filter.

(sorry for the image, somehow I wasn't able to add the code snippet)
