Not able to debug the code with UDE

Hello Everyone,

I have created a custom model with a new Runnable Class to test some code. I have built the model, deployed it, and synchronized the database successfully.

When I run the class, I can see that the debugger hits the breakpoint inside the Runnable class, however it does not open a new browser window for the runnable class execution.

According to Microsoft documentation (Step 2 in below link), running the class should open a new browser window:

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/developer/unified-experience/finance-operations-debug#debug-the-deployed-code

Has anyone faced this issue in the Unified Developer Experience environment?

Is there any setup/configuration required to make the runnable class open in a new browser window?

Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
    1) put/set the breakpoint
    2) Go to VS>> Extensions >> Dynamics 365 >> Launch Debugger
    3) use the dynamics from browser and that should take you to the breakpoint in the Visual Studio
Make sure to wait after step 2, until it is Ready, because loading of symbols can take time sometimes.

Thanks Sohaib! I opened my runnable class on the browser and wait for the debugger, but it took a lot of time at last it worked.

    Hi,
It takes time, usually first time, when it loads symbols. I usually would not stat using the system, unless the symblos are fully loaded and and status reads as Ready.
You can see the status and loading of symbols, on the windows, which usually appear on the bottom side of Visual Studio
