Interface to external OMS?

Hello,

I'm new to AX. Coming from SAP Environments. Does anybody know if there is an interface in AX to connect to an external output-management system?

How will user get a feedback about printed documents in production environments?

    There is no such tool out of the box, but there are a couple of ISV solutions for document management for sure. If you are talking about AX 7, I believe it could utilize SharePoint Document Library for document attachments, but not printouts.

    Or you could write your own, since AX is much more flexible for modifying the code than SAP. You may refer to the SRS* and Print* classes to get an idea. Also you should learn about how the FormLetter framework is handling printing in AX.
