With Dynamics 365 Marketing, I have created a marketing form, with contact/lead matching. Once the form is submitted a lead/contact is created
Contact Matching strategy - emailaddress1. to avoid duplicate contacts being created.
This is all working fine, however, where the contact is matched i do not want the system to update other fields in that contact record with data from the form submission
.e.g. First Name in contact record is not updated by the first name entered in the marketing form.
How to i match the contact and not update the record?
