Power BI Report not working on Dynamics 365 for Mobile

Hi. So I integrated a custom Power BI Report with a model-driven app (Dynamics 365), and on desktop, it works fine. Other users can also view the report if I give them access through the workspace the report is located in. But in the mobile version, it doesn't work; it says authentication wasn't successful and you need to sign in. When I click Sign In, nothing happens and the same message persists. I have my workspace open in the Power BI mobile application. 

What could be the problem? Is it on the Dynamics 365 mobile side?

    Hello,

    As of iOS 14 update there is a setting that you will have to adjust in the ios settings in order to make this work:

    1. Go to the iOS settings of the device

    2. Go to the settings of the Dynamics 365 App

    3. Switch on the toggle "Allow Cross-Website Tracking" (If for some reason you don't see this toggle in the options, it means you will then need to update to the latest version of the app)

    This option needs to be enabled because Power BI embedded uses cross-site cookies for authentication (dynamics and Power BI internet domains.) This is a new requirement starting from iOS 14:

    However, There was another recent iOS update that may have broken this recently. I am currently investigating this and will provide an update to this on this thread.

    Hello. Thank you for your answer. I will try this with an iOS phone but the problem unfortunately is the same on Android. Is there a similar setting for Android?

    I was also told if you use IFRAMEs on your Power BI Report, it won't work on D365 Mobile. Not sure how you would check if so but is that really something that might prevent someone from authenticating/signing in?

    Hello NaCarns,

    I just confirmed with our DEV team this morning that there was an endpoint change on both iOS and Android. Our team is currently investigating this for a fix. I will keep you updated as to when to try again.

    Thank you for the updates. I tried the application on Android 8.1 and Android 9.1 but the issue perpetuated. Not sure if at this point it's a problem on my end as well as the application's.

    Hopefully this gets resolved and thank you for the help.

    Hello all,

    The version containing the fix for Power BI is now available in the ios App store as of 6/24/2021 and is in a progressive rollout on Android (it should reach 100% Monday 6/28)

    Hi Tyson. The report is now showing on iOS so thank you for the fix! Will update you on what happens with the Android version.

    UPDATE: It somehow worked on Android now. Was the update earlier that expected? Although I have had another problem where I can't view my apps without having the MS Authenticator open at the same time. The session times out and the application errors out if the authenticator isn't open. This isn't an issue on iOS I believe.

    Hi Tyson.. powerBI app was working fine on my phone MiA2 with Android 8.1 untiI 14 June.. Now I am getting the error " there was a problem authenticating your account. Please contact support. " Please suggest.
