Error while Transfer Receipt from In-transit Lot in Transfer Order

Dear All,

I am facing one issue regarding Transfer Order. While posting of Transfer Receipt on Order showing error You must assign a lot number for item XYZ.

The Remaining Qty is available in In-Transit Location, but lot is showing in Item tracking lines of Standing Transfer Order.

Please guide.

    Hi, From Transfer order, You can go to Lines ~ Item Tracking Lines on every item, and select first Shipment to enter the Lot Number associated with this transaction, as one of the items assigned to Tracking Code "LOT".

    From Item tracking lines kindly assign lot number because item is enabled for item tracking.

    System is not allowing to enter values in Item Tracking lines.

    Do you use Warehouse Receipts documents? If so, you have to enter the Lot tracking from these documents.

    We are not using Warehouse receipts & still system is not allowing to enter the manual values in standing Transfer Order.

    If you have multiple item lines in transfer order, may be there is an item don't have tracking code.

    Check if all your items require Tracking Lot Number or not.

    You must only select the item that has Tracking code to be able to enter lot number.

    The Order is having 8 Line Items which are different from each other  (Item Code is not repeated).

    The each line item is showing the lot no. in Item Tracking Lines -> Shipment option.

    When I enter the same no. in Item Tracking Lines -> Receipt option it will again reset to blank automatically.

    Please guide.

    Hi There

    Here is fix to solve this.

    In Transfer order form, you go to edit subform TransferLines SubFormLink value from

    Document No.=FIELD(No.),Derived From Line No.=CONST(0)

    to 

    Document No.=FIELD(No.)

    and then run form temporaily without saving the form. 

    Then you will see both shipment and receipt lines. Navigate trough all receipt lines and check the item tracking line => ItemTracking => Shipment (shipment is important).

    Then you can apply correct item tracking.

    Close form and go back to standard form again. Then you can post the transfer order receipt.

    this is a temporary fix and we cant do it every time the problem happens, have Microsoft done anything to resolve this?
