NAV 2016 Web Client

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi Team,

I have done a three tier installation for NAV 2016 and when i try to access the web client inside the server using the localhost and with private ip it is working fine. But when i try to access the web client using the public ip http://XX.XX.XX.XXX:portno/DynamicsNAV90/WebClient/it is will ask for user id and pwd and once i enter the credentials it is giving me error saying :

An error has occurred

A server error has occurred, and the content cannot be displayed. Refresh the page or open a new browser window.
Also when I checked in event viewer the error is : 'A server was not found at "Net.tcp://Server:7046/DynamicsNAV90/Service". Either the URL is incorrect or the server is currently not available'.

I tried to ping the server through my client and i am able to do that.

    Hi shweta khunte,

As per the image, please open the NAV administrator and make it TRUE as per the image, I think now it should work.

    Thanks
