So all of us that upgraded to Dynamics 365 9.0 onpremise first had a trial key that lasted 3 months.
By the time that the three month period ended Microsoft had published 9.0 license keys to both PartnerSource, CustomerSource, VLC (EA) and other portals so that we could change the key. Even though it was a couple of months after the release, I finally had a key that was not a trial and was happy.
But yesterday we got an error!
localhost/.../errorhandler.aspx;ErrorCode=0x8004A106&Parm0=CrmKey(Id:da69c569-2c46-e331-97b1-00155d0ca5o1, ScaleGroupId:00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000, KeyType:CrmWRPCTokenKey, Expired:True, ValidOn:03/14/2019 07:38:51, ExpiresOn:04/16/2019 07:38:51, CreatedOn:03/14/2019 07:38:51, CreatedBy:CORP\MSCRM_ASYNC&RequestUri=/org/default.aspx&user_lcid=1053
And the result was that we now couldn't log in to CRM anymore. As the error suggest our serialkey that we downloaded from PartnerSource had now expired.
I got reallly confused since the key was the one that Microsoft released as a production license on their portals for 9.0 and should therefore not have an expire date.
I logged in to PartnerSource again, and what I could see was that the license key had been updated again.
If we had upgraded our production, the result would have been that non of our users or services would have been able to connect to CRM.
Have you experianced the same issue?
Any words from Microsoft about this?
Best Regards
Rickard
