Dear All :

We are selling our Products to a group of customers that listed under/belongs to a certain agent. for each customer invoice , a certain amount/percentage should be paid to the parent agent (not customer itself) .

Please guide me how to implement this on Dynamics 365 finance and Operation.

    Hy,
yes as Adis wrote this is handled as sales commission. To make it short.
Setup Sales group, assigen Workers (= agents), setup commission calcluation rules, calculate commission after sales orders are processed.

    Dear All :

Thanks for your reply. My word here (agent) not means a worker , it means a greater company or a parent company. please let me know if "Rebate agreements" in sales and marketing can be used ?

    Hi Sherif,

Just as an idea. Even if it is a worker, you still can link a vendor to the worker. So, when you pay the commission, you always pay it to a vendor, no matter if it is a worker or a vendor, because technically its always a vendor you are paying to. It may look just weird if you have your agent (vendor) also created as a worker and not only as a vendor.

    Would that work?

    Kind regards, Adis

    Hy again,

in addition to the standard commission process there is a functionality call Broker contract management

With that you can link items on sales orders to broker contracts and at the end of the day you can process the payment of fees to contract partners (=vendors).

    Hope this helps.
