How can I directly access my newly created SSRS report from Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations Module?

Posted on by

I created SSRS report using VS solution.

I have deployed the report in Dynamics Environment successfully.

I created OutputMenuItem  to start a project in debug mode.

Now, I don't received any error and I am successfully able to open my report.

I want to know which steps I need to follow if I want to access the same report without debug mode?

Is it available in any Menu? or any other way to open it without debug mode. Please guide me.

Actually my requirement is to view the same report under Data WareHouse > Pick List Report > My newly created report.

    You are right.

When I set my new report as start up report it will automatically opens from Pick List report.

    Thanks for the reply

So, in Visual Studio in Application Explorer, under User Interface pick Menus and now you can create extension of any of the menus you want and add you'r menu output item by dragging it from your project to the menu. When you will synchronize the database and build your project you can now access your report from AX7 .

You can't access the same report without debug mode in Visual Studio, but you can pin your Menu Output Item to any Menu (like WHS) under InquiriesAndReports and when you will open AX7 you can pick your button and access the report.
