Custom contact attribute not showing when trying to create new segment in RTM

Hi everyone

I am having trouble finding a custom attribute in the attribute search when creating a segment. I have already checked the tracking issue (as described here: https://www.rainforss.me/articles/cannot-find-a-table-when-trying-to-add-new-tables-to-segment) but the contact table is already tracked by default. The tracking is also allowed on the attribute itself. Any ideas why the contact attribute is not showing up in the search when trying to build a segment? Thanks!

    Yes, indeed it was because the column security was activated. Thank you very much!
     
    But why could we use it in outbound and not any more in RTM? Makes no sense!

    Do you have field level security enabled on this specific field? Field secured attributes are not showing up.

    Hi there! Thank you for the suggestion. Unfortunately, it is not a custom table, it is only a custom attribute. The attribute was created on the default contact table (which is already synched in the segment overview). Any other ideas?

    Good morning,

    As IAmHelen has advised with the linked documentation below, you may need to sync the custom table so that it's available to use when building out your segment query.
     
     
     
    After you add the new table, you can use the attributes immediately in your segment creation, but note that it can take up to 24 hours for a data table to be synchronized into the system. At this time, the segment member size estimate and preview features are not available, and you can't view the segment membership until the table is synchronized into the system.

    The attribute was added some time ago, about 2 years ago. Do you think this is related?
