Hi Everyone,
I've been working in Navision for the past 5 years and recently switched to a company that uses Dynamics AX. I've only been in the new system for a day or so but I'm having a really hard time navigating through it. I was thinking it would work similar to Navision where I could dive into the GL and see the entries then navigate through them to get a sense of the processes. However, it is very clear to me that Dynamics is a whole new beast. While I know Dynamics AX is being phased out for Dynamics 365, my company is going to be using Dynamics AX for at least a few years so I need to get comfortable.
What are the best resources to get started? Here are my immediate goals:
1) Understand the workflows - In Navision, this would be understanding the posting setup then being able to track a post through this workflow so I can see the ledger entries.
2) Understanding SQL storage - In Navision, this would be the "about this page" section so I could see which SQL tables the ledger entries are stored in.
Thank you!
Below links would help,
