How long does it typically take your organization to complete an upgrade from one version of F&O One Version to another?

I'm curious how long it takes other organizations to complete and upgrade from starting the testing process to getting it approved for production and deployed. For example, going from 10.0.23 to 10.0.25/

I would like to just benchmark to other organizations so I would be curious about the number of users and number of sites since I suspect that adds to the complexity of a company's upgrade process.

To provide a response about our process we typically take 3 weeks from General Availability to Production for about 250 users and one company with multiple warehouses.

I don't think that there can be any meaningful estimation, because projects differ by many orders of magnitude.

If we want to at least attempt it, we need to specify what we're talking about. You said what you want to upgrade to, but not what from. Do you mean AX 2012 R3? Or AX 2009? Or something else?

Do you mean the upgrade of both code and data?

You mentioned the number of users, but it's not really important. You can have the same number of users, but one application with little changes and another huge one developed over dozen years. Similar with databases. You also may have a solution based on deprecated features that can't be upgraded at all and needs to be redesigned from scratch.

You also didn't take into account the size of the implementation team.

Good feedback, I edit the post to clarify since my understanding if with AX it was the process is very different than F&O OneVersion. I was specifically interested in One Version releases--rather than the major version updates of the older version of AX.
