Removing unused managed apps

Posted on by 15

How do I remove unused managed apps from Dynamics 365? When I try to remove Customer Service Hub, which has an inactive trial and is going unused by going to advanced settings > Customization > Customize the System, then selecting "Model-Driven Apps" from the sidebar, selecting "Customer Service Hub", then selecting delete, I get an error message saying "Managed Properties Error: You cannot complete this action for this component because of the configuration of its managed properties."

    Nya,

What if the dependency listed can't be deleted?  There isn't even an option to remove.

    Hello nick,

Did you find any solution for this. I am currently in need for deleting all the apps that were exported as they are not needed, we have managed apps tho so cant delete them directly.

I just needed to confirm if there is any approach with which we can delete all the apps? Customer service workspace, hub and others. just keep portal management in the apps list ?

Please let me know if this is possible. Currently i am trying to delete all solutions but i dont think that will work.

    Thanks

After I check the dependency, how do I remove it? I don’t see a remove or delete button in the dependency view.

    Hi,

When removing Customer Service Hub, you need to select it as you mentioned and click the Show Dependencies button shown in the following screenshot.

Check the dependencies and remove them so that the application can be deleted.
