I would like to extend a string size for some field how should I do?

Dear All,

With this table that I extend from standard. and this field

I would like to change a string size from 20 to be 40 but a system alert when I save that /Unauthorized to modify model Application Suite/. But I don't see some function that extend to be my EDT.

please advise how should I do.

In F&O, you can't directly changed objects defined in models from Microsoft. You need to create an extension in your model.
