Installing Management Reporter

I am having problems with a new installation of Management Reporter I hoped someone could help with. I am installing it in a Windows Server 2008 virtual machine running SQL Server 2008 which has been joined to a domain. IIS 7.5 is installed and has ASP.NET 2 installed and allowed in Web Service Extensions. The Application Pool for Management is running as a domain user with admin access to this machine. Ditto for the Management Reporter service. When trying to stat Management Reporter Report Designer, or Viewer, I get a message stating "Can't connect to the Management Reporter server. Do you want to specify a different server address?" If I say yes then I see a dialog with the correct server name in (entering it in IE shows me a 403 (can't browse folder error page) so the web service is running correctly. If I retype the connection address and hit OK I get a message stating "The version of the database is incorrect. Install the correct version of the database". Both server and client were installed from the same installer package.

I am having problems with a new installation of Management Reporter I hope, experts can solve this problem.

I am installing it in a Windows Server 2008 32bit Standards Edition running SQL Server 2005 standard Edition with SP2 which has been joined to a domain.

After the installation is complete, when I open the Report Designer it gives the different types of messages. Such as:

1.The connection to the server could not be established. Check the server address and try again or contact your system  administrator

2.Cannot connect to the management reporter server, do you want to specify the different server address?

3.There was problem communicating with server

4.The version of the database is incorrect. install the correct version of the database etc

Currently I am facing the 2nd one issue, and all other issues I have been faced before the second one.

In respect to the 2nd problem, when I retype the different server name, it gets the message # 1
(The connection to the server could not be established. Check the server address and try again or contact your system administrator)

Both server and client were installed from the same installer package.

The installation procedure of is mostly like this, refer to the following link:

But additional question is from Ian, how can we change the language settings of the Application Pool local service user to US English.

This problem is still a problem. Completely and step by step update me to resolve this problem.

Not sure I can tell you exactly as I did several things.

The last thing I did was to change the language settings of the Application Pool local service user to US English.

Before doing this I had also changed the user from a domain account to the local system account.
