Dynamics365 for Marketing addon contact licenses?

Hi Guys,

I am trying to understand the licensing model for dynamics365 for marketing and struggling to understand how the Addon contact cost works. the licensing guide is quite confusing and it's not making sense.

We have dynamics365 for sales which allows us to get dynamics365 for marketing for $1029.80 (base plan with10k contacts). Our database has around 60k marketing contacts and they are growing,

What additional contact Tier pack will we have to purchase?

What's the best method to reduce our addon cost?

Can we get Tier5 for $686.50/month and that should cover upto 500k contacts?

Can someone please explain what they do for their business?

Yes you can go for T5 if its a requirement depending on you business.

it doesn't makes sense that T5 which gives you more marketing contacts is costing less then T2 which gives you less marketing contacts? I don't understand the difference between them.

Please go to office admin center click on billing followed by purchase services. Then search for Marketing. select dynamics 365 marketing and go to addon section . here you can see the details for all the add-on available from T2 to T5

Maybe you've allready figured this out, but the main difference is the amount of licenses you buy in one batch. To get the T5 price, you need to buy 10 packs of 50 000 in one batch. To get the t4 price you need to buy at least 5 packs of 50 000 in one patch. So, buying 5 packs for T4 price in month 1, and 5 new t4 packs in month 2 is bad for business, because you will pay T4 price all year long for all packs....

Makes sense?
