How do I export/download/save and rdl report file to a local machine?

    create solution and add the report  -> export solution  -> extract solution you find the .rdl file

    It's actually pretty easy to download the RDL. No need to create a solution file. Simply navigate to the Report area of CRM, put a checkmark next to the report, click Edit at the top. In the Actions menu select Download Report. See the below screenshot for an overview.
