One of my clients is experiencing an issue with some users where they cannot change their default dashboard in CRM. The 'pin' button is present and when they click it on their desired default dashboard, it appears to save their selection. However, if they navigate away from the dashboards, or close and reopen their browser, their dashboards have returned to the System default.
In one of the attempts to fix this, we tried changing their Personal Options landing page to Accounts, with the intention of setting this back to dashboards to see if we could wake the system up a little. However, it turns out, if they change their landing page on their personal options, this also doesn't save, and resets back to "Default Tab" etc.,
We have tried clearing their cache multiple times, but this hasn't helped.
They are using on premise CRM 2016 (8.1.1.1005) in chrome (version 68). All users are on the same browser version as this is enforced by their group policy.
I've checked the security roles "user settings" for the affected users and they have "user level" access across the board except for "Read" which is set to Organisational.
I'm a little bit at a loss now at what could be preventing the system from saving these changes for some users, but not all.
