Some activity records are missing their Activity Type

Some activity records are missing their Activity Type. the columns are being null.This only applies to records created before the transition from 2015 On-Prem to D365 online, so I assume this was an error during data transfer. Any reasons for this.

can someone help me out here. Is something to be configured
