    Hi partner,

Don't forget to mark the verified answer by clicking Yes.

    Hi partner,

You need to add "Application Ribbons" to the solution and then open it in the ribbon workbench.

This way you could see the advanced find button in the ribbon workbench.

    Please refer to two blogs:

I have to edit the highlighted button using JavaScript. But I was not able to locate the button in Ribbon Workbench.

    Hi partner,

    Could you provide some screenshots?

This can help us understand your problem better.

Changing the button (even if you could) is not related to showing/hiding entities. The best way is to use security roles to control what entities show there.
